Comhar Críostaí – The Christian Solidarity Party, is a political party in the Republic of Ireland. Founded back in 1993 and registered with the Standards in Public Office Commission (SIPO), it always complies with every requirement of the SIPO.
The logo of the party is based on a Celtic cross. It is yellow with a green trim. Its cross’s limbs represent the four Principles of Christian Social Doctrine founded on the traditional Biblical doctrines; The Human Person, The Common Good, Subsidiarity and Solidarity. The circle represents the necessity to embrace all the four Principles.
The Human Person’s fundamental Human Right is the Right to Life.
Clearly, Comhar Criostai must be a firmly Natalist Pro-life party. The Right to Life is not the sole concern of Comhar Criostai, and nor should it be. Bunreacht na h-Eireann – The Constitution of Ireland originally guaranteed the Right to Life, and other rights. These have been extinguished by Referendums of Amendment. Comhar Criostai alone has opposed all the Amendments; thrice successfully, but, in every other Referendum, without success.
